Dear Friends, we are proud to be a partner of 1st Ever Regatta of Champions 2022, that took place in Limassol, Cyprus, after the completion of all Continentals and World Championships.
" The 1st Ever Regatta of Champions is part of the Optimist Class History Book, I would like to express my gratitude to the trust and support you showed for this event. Although this past year, I was presenting you with a theoretical idea and concept of the event, you did not hesitate to realize the potential of bringing some fresh wind into sailing, especially the Optimist Class.
You believed as much as we did and contributed the most to make a dream come true. As Organizers, we felt that we had to deliver a Class Event, at least equal to your reputation, in order to show our appreciation to your support and we did to the best of our ability.
Based on the feedback we received throughout the year, but most importantly after the event, a sample of which can be found attached, we managed to organize a regatta that made headlines, at least in the Optimist Class, world-wide.
Thank You All for Your Support & Contribution. Words cannot express our appreciation, but now we consider you life-time partners for this event which we are planning to establish it as the World Class Annual Regatta. You will always have the first say for this event and we are looking forward to expanding our partnership and the event to even greater things."
